| Founded in 1972, the Oriental Rug Retailers Association of Massachusetts
(ORRAM) is dedicated to improving the Oriental rug trade through educating the
public about the benefits of owning a genuine Oriental rug, and ensuring fair trade
practices. The phrase “Oriental Rug” is used to describe many different types of
weavings. It is the primary goal of ORRAM to educate consumers about the joys of
owning the genuine article. This site is designed to help people who are
interesting in owning an oriental rug by identifying dealers that share the values of
the association: fair trade practices, truthful advertising, knowledge and experience
